The Haiti Earthquake: How WE can HELP!

A magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck the Caribbean island of Haiti recently leaving widespread

devastation. Up to 3 million people have been affected by the quake. News sources claim

widespread casualties and destruction throughout the island. Below is a list of ways that you

and your congregation can engage your communities in the relief efforts already underway.

Church World Service Kits

CWS Kits make a world of difference in the lives of refugees, displaced people, and victims of natural disasters.

Church World Service Kits are small packages of supplies assembled by volunteers and shipped to people in need around the world.

CWS provides School Kits, Hygiene Kits, Baby Care Kits, and Emergency Clean-up Buckets. The contents of each Kit have been selected with care based on years of experience to make them as useful as possible, wherever and whenever they are sent.

Kits may be sent to Church World Service all year. Your continuing support of this program is very important and helps to ensure Kits are available for immediate response after a disaster in another part of the world or here in the U.S. Thank you for giving from the heart!!
